Automatic list of publications with Jekyll

1 min read

You can get an automatic list of publications on your Jekyll blog by combiningĀ Zotero and jekyll-scholar.

First, export your publications from Zotero as a .bib-file. Getting all your publications exported is especially easy if you have all your publications in a My Publications collection. You can just export the whole collection and get a list of your publications.

Next, you place that file in your Jekyll directory in the _bibliography folder.

Then, on your publications page, you include the bibliography with something like

{% bibliography --file my-publications.bib --group_by year --group_order descending %}

This adds your publications grouped by year in descending order. SeeĀ jekyll-scholar documentation on how to configure it more.
